Water is our lifeblood. Let’s conserve it.
On March 21, the national drought monitor announced that Dallas is officially back in a moderate to exceptional drought. And with the uncannily dry spring we’ve experienced, one can only guess how dry this summer is going to be. The Environment Texas Research ad Policy Center recently released a report regarding water conservation in Texas. According to our report, Texas can save 500 billion gallons of water every year by 2020 (enough to meet the municipal water needs of 9 million Texans) if we start implementing water conservation programs.
On April 4th, Environment Texas will be joined by experts to talk about the need for prioritizing our water.

This event is free and open to the public, and will include light refreshments.
