Eric Neilsen, Canoe Adventures

Eric has been paddle since his days in Boy Scouts where he went on many paddling trips. He continued with paddle adventures with friends up in the Sacramento River, Trinity River and Russian Rivers of California.

He has been paddling the rivers and lakes of Vermont, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. . He paddles an Old Town Penobscot as his primary canoe. His cooking skills are hard to beat and he can whip up a carnivores delight as well as a satisfying vegetarian meal.

He also offers photographic workshops, so you can combine a paddle adventure with a landscape, environmental, or portrait workshop. He been active in photography for more than 40 years. Offering video tutorials, one on one web training, custom printing, and a variety of photographic service from studio portraits to location shoots.

He filled the roles of web master and film festival chairman for the Dallas Down River Club and had previously been the newsletter editor and vice president. He currently lives in Castleton, VT were the lakes are close by and several creeks and rivers are close by. He also can provide local trips with capacity of 8 canoes.

Rates vary. He has no special certifications or license for wilderness trips.
