Where do you paddle and what do you see?

Posted by on February 2, 2013

When we are out paddling sometimes the intent is a workout. Sometimes it’s to fish or just to watch the wildlife enjoying their home.  This is White Rock Lake. It is a local body of water in Dallas, TX that offers both lake paddling and a creek that give you a scenic 4 miles or more to enjoy a small creek with Egrets, Blue Heron, turtles and the occasional beaver.  Putting in at the Mockingbird Bridge access point is easy. It also affords one quick access to the creek or on those days where a flat water paddle is really the ticket, about 4 miles of lake to play on. Sailboats only as no power boats are allowed so your paddling will be relaxed.
