On a recent paddle out around Goat Island and the C paddle trail, the plant has grown so much that a solid blanket of it covers the trail. This makes for difficult paddling. please check out these sites and learn about why we need to move against this problem soon. The weevil that can help eradicate this invasive plant needs are help to grow, be placed in the areas that will do maximum good.
