The Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Water Development Board and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department invite the public to post their personal drought photos on social media sites, such as Twitter and Flickr, using hashtag #txdrought, and Instagram at texasdrought, through Sept. 30. “Photos should illustrate how the drought is affecting daily life — whether it is dry creek beds, withered crops, native plants flourishing in the dry climate or the innovative water conservation measures Texans are using to combat drought,” said the agencies in a statement.
